Christmas Ball Ornaments

It became a favorite place for us to visit and buy a new project
often last year.
Toward the end of the year, I found this wonderful book
about Christmas sewing projects.
The name of the book is Fast and Furious Holiday by G.E. Designs.
I bought fabric and started making one of the projects in the book-
Christmas Ball Ornaments.
I was hoping to be done by Christmas 2010, but here I am in
March and still not done.

The pictures above are the last of the ornaments to be sewn.

These are the ornaments that are finished sewing
and waiting for the bow to be attached.

I have my gifts finished for this year ahead of time.

Quilting Projects

My daughter and I wanted to sew a few projects. We are working on our project list which somehow has become rather long. Here are a few pictures of our first projects. We saw this bag in a Quilting shop close to out home. They found the pattern in a quilting magazine. The pattern is called The Big Bag Theory. My purse is 4 squares wide by 4 squares tall on both sides. It is the same size as the pattern calls for. It is rather big, but a wonderful bag to carry my projects in.


My daughter was able to have one made just from the scraps left over from mine. I did make hers smaller though. Hope you enjoy!
